The Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala has proposed a bigger shopping success in the present year by conducting 'Grand Kerala Shopping Festival”.
The Kerala Khadi and Village Industries Board is authorised to conduct All India Khadi Silk Fest in connection with the present year's Grand Kerala Shopping Festival in Thiruvananthapuram.

Venue:- V.J.T Hall, Thiruvananthapuram.
Prominent Silk weavers/ Producers' from various States such as West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Chastisghat, Andra Pradesh, Karnataka, Bihar, Tamil Nadu are going to participate.
About 1,00,000 sarees and so many silk Verities of silk cloths from all over India will be displayed.
